The 1st International Forestry Graduate’s Conference 2013
(FORGRAD2013) is conducted to gather all graduates, young scientist and
activist in the field of forestry, agriculture and environmental science to
share their research or cognizance which would aid in increasing people’s
awareness on the importance and significance of using knowledge and research
finding to create an environment which in line with human capital developments.
In addressing this
issue, Faculty of Forestry Graduate’s Student Society (FORGRAD) in
collaboration with the Management of Faculty of Forestry, Universiti Putra
Malaysia will be organizing The 1st International Forestry Graduate’s Student Conference 2013 (FORGRAD
2013) from 2nd -7th July 2013.

Outline
Forest management auditing is evolving very quickly and auditors are required to be endowed with multiple capacities capacities and expertise. An intensive course to prepare forest management auditors and a unique access to new skills, professional knowledge and job opportunities. Target Audience
The target audience includes students with a forest background involved in international MSc and PhD programs such as SUTROFOR, SUFONAMA, MEDFOR, European Forestry, FOPER and FONASO. Young researchers, experts, public and private consultants are also welcome.
Fees
The course is offered free of charge.
Scholarships
Financial support is available to a limited number of qualified students. The granted students will receive travel and accommodation refund up to 300 Euros after submission of the expenses (train/flight tickets, accommodation receipt/invoice).
Who is eligible for the financial support?
Only students enrolled to any University, either in Master or PhD courses, can apply for financial support. Priority will be given to the participants enrolled to Erasmus Mundus Master courses. Students applying for financial support will be notified about whether or not they have got financial support by 10th November 2012.
